Announce support for re-election of Cathie Adams for State Chairman
Dallas – Former National Committeeman Tim Lambert, Former State Party Vice Chairman David Barton join with National Committeeman Bill Crocker and Vice Chairman Robin Armstrong to announce their support for Chairman Cathie Adams.
Tim Lambert states, “Cathie Adams is a strong conservative and has the background, experience and dedication the Republican Party of Texas needs to elect republicans to office this fall. I have full confidence that she will restore the Republican Party to a large majority in the Texas House and continue to build the party across this great state and that is why I am proud to give my endorsement and full support to her candidacy for Chairman of the Republican Party of Texas.”
Current National Committeeman Bill Crocker said, “I am thrilled to put my support behind Cathie Adams for Chair of the Republican Party of Texas. Cathie has been a leader for grassroots politics for the past 20 years and no other candidate is more suitable for the job.”
Adams said she is honored to have the support of Robin Armstrong, David Barton, Bill Crocker and Tim Lambert. “Endorsement from these committed Republican leaders demonstrates the confidence they have in me as their State Chairman. Having worked with these men for more than twenty years they know firsthand the commitment I have to our party’s principles.”
They join a growing list of grassroots leaders that are supporting Cathie Adams re-election as chairman including 71 current and past members of the SREC, a past President of TFRW, 9 current and past Republican members of the SBOE, 16 Republican members of the Legislature and 51 current and past Republican County Chairman.

Texas GOP Chairman Cathie Adams Announces Support from 60 Current and former SREC Members.
Dallas – Republican Party of Texas Chairman Cathie Adams today announced the endorsements of 60 current and former members of the State Republican Executive Committee for her re-election efforts.
The Republican Party of Texas Chairman is chosen by thousands of delegates every two years at its State Convention, which will be held this year on June 11-12, in Dallas. Having risen through the grassroots to become Chairman, Adams was elected by the SREC in October of 2009 when then Chair, Tina Benkiser resigned.
“It’s my honor to accept the endorsements of my fellow members as we continue to serve together for our Party. Adams stated. “I am excited that our grassroots leadership shares my desire to keep the Republican Party growing with integrity.”
“Cathie is the epitome of servant leadership. She has worked hard throughout the decades fighting for conservative causes. As Texans, we are blessed for her and her family’s willingness to serve in such a demanding position.” – Josh Flynn, SREC 15
“I have endorsed Cathie because of her history of supporting the conservative positions contained in our platform both at the state and national level. In the short time she has been the RPT Chair she conducted the business of the party in an open manner which kept the SREC informed and involved in Party management. Under her leadership, we have made significant progress in re-establishing a strong financial position and are on our way to being prepared for the general election in November.” –Jim Wiggins, SREC 3, Chairman of Audit Committee.
